new, tracking devices, making rent

ok, now i have a blogger account in addition to all my other information and online data sharing accounts.  It just struck me the other day when i was setting this up that i now have a Blogger account, a Flickr account, a Last.fm account, and an obligatory Myspace,  and a dead livejournal.   I think that's enough information to be sharing with the general public right?  A girl I was working with says she doesn't even like people to know what kind of music she listens to because that to her is TMI.  I understood.  You can piece people apart by what you think they like.... who they are... who they might know... where they frequent...  these paranoias don't register with me.  

Maybe it's because I don't smoke pot anymore or maybe I am convinced that no one ever cares because I  don't.   Who reads anymore?  I don't read.  I don't even read blogs... I'll download songs from blogs and look at pictures...  I'll skim the tops of things.  Shit, I can't even read nothing besides graphic novels.   So I'm starting this to share some of my favorites of things with the semi-anonymous and to post embarrassing photos of myself getting naked and drunk simultaneously on Ebay.

speaking of eBay I have a signed copy of Ram Dass' book Be Here Now for sale.  It goes toward the true nonprofit of rent.  Tell your best hippie friend.  It's a good book if you can get past that foul language like 'groovy' and 'right on'.  BUY IT.

There are a lot of good shows that come through Portland but for some reason Saturday March 7th  : Xiu Xiu, Atlas Sound and Crystal Castles are all playing on the same night.  It's gonna be a masterbatathon for indie portlanders. Xiu Xiu is playing at the Someday Lounge right next door to Crystal Castles at Backspace... and then Atlas Sound at Holocene.  Wtf..... i'm an aashole and wrote them all to alert them of this difficult decision I was facing but then I realized I just spent all my money on beer and rent anyways.   Ha!

*according to Crystal Castles Myspace the singer broke 2 ribs in a car accident and will actually not be able to do that show.  OUCH
